George & Betty Langtry

Photo Courtesy Bea Kivits-Maudsley Betty & George Langtry have been involved in square dancing for many, many years. They have been members of several clubs, including the Happy Hearts, the White Rockers, and the Silver Saddles, and have served on the club executives for several years. They currently dance with Motivators & Abbotsford Swinging Hubs, and can also be found out visiting many clubs during the year. As well, they have been involved in volunteering to help outside their clubs, including the following: Served on committees for Conventions 1990 and 2000. Served on a committee for Festival 2005 held in Abbotsford. Have been Directors for the Fraser Valley Assn for several years. Been the Vice President and President of the Fraser Valley Assn. Have been on the Promotion Committee for several years. and, Betty is currently a delegate to the BC Square & Round Dance Federation They have been very hard workers for the square dance movement.
