Blair began Square Dancing shortly after his daughter started dancing around 1994 and he quickly moved into more involved positions within the square dance community. He served for several years as the Club President of the Wesburn Wranglers and coached many young kids to square dance for the PNTSDF with the Delta Sundancers, all the while promoting fun and friendship through Square Dancing. This person travelled with his own children and other children to the US on many occasions, encouraging Square Dance ambassadorship with teen & preteen dancers.

Blair has been the Managing Editor of the Valley Circle since the December 2001 issue. Managing a team of six people, the Valley Circle team re-vamped the process by which the Valley Circle was created, printed and distributed to the Square Dancers of the Fraser Valley. Since 2012 he has also been the Webmaster for the Fraser Valley website. He continually demonstrates his ability to promote Square Dancing within the Dancer Community.

He and his daughter partnered early on. First coaching squares of young, preteen dancers and later moving to adults for both Squares and Rounds. In 2007 they took on the Mission Grand Squares where he filled every position but caller.

Today he continues to be the Managing Editor of the Valley Circle and the Fraser Valley Webmaster. He is also active with demonstrating & assisting round dance lessons at the Swinging Singles Club.

Blair also is a firm figure assisting local Caller's with their equipment and music.

Blair has been a major contributor to dancing in region2.
